I’m a noble one, I don’t like to blend, I glow in signs that never end.

Strong bones need me, I’m in milk too, without me, teeth would break in two.

I’m the metal that rusts and stains, yet I run through your blood in veins.

Iron

I’m used in wires, shiny and red, electricity loves me, that’s what’s said.

Copper

I’m liquid and silver, at room heat I stay, in old thermometers, I once had my way.

Mercury

I’m the element with just one letter, light and quick, can you do better?

Iodine (I)

I’m the heaviest metal in atomic land, dropped from the sky, I can devastate sand.

Uranium

Put me in balloons, I make them fly high, I’m lighter than air, up in the sky.

Helium

I’m in bananas, healthy and sweet, for nerves and muscles, I can’t be beat.

Potassium

I’m the building block of life’s frame, diamonds and coal both share my name.

Carbon

I’m salty and white, found in the sea, your body needs a little of me.

Sodium

I’m used in pencils, black as night, though I’m not lead, I still write.

Graphite

I’m the strongest metal, light yet tough, planes and rockets need my stuff.

Titanium

I clean pools and keep them clear, in your nose I sting if I’m near.

Chlorine

I’m precious and rare, shiny and bold, kings and queens love me in gold.

Gold

I shine white-blue in fire’s dance, I help your bones and teeth advance.

Magnesium

I’m used in batteries, small and neat, I power the devices you keep at your seat.

Lithium

I’m radioactive, glowing green lore, I lit up watch dials in times before.

Radium

Without me in hemoglobin’s core, your blood won’t carry oxygen anymore.

Iron

I’m stable, quiet, a noble friend, with the symbol Ar, I never bend.

Argon

I’m heavier than air, I put fires out, in soda fizz, I dance about.

Carbon Dioxide

I’m the silver metal that shines so bright, for jewelry and mirrors I’m just right.
